Christy is a life member of OHA with deep roots in agriculture, wildlife stewardship, and community advocacy. With decades of experience as a rancher and farmer, she raised purebred Nubian dairy goats for 37 years and fullblood South Devon cattle for 10 years.
Though not a hunter herself, Christy’s passion for wildlife conservation has always been central to her life. Growing up with parents who were avid hunters, she developed a profound respect for nature, sustainable practices, and the importance of preserving wildlife for future generations. This early foundation shaped her lifelong commitment to ensuring that wildlife and their habitats remain protected and thriving.
Christy also brings strong leadership skills to her work, blending her agricultural background with a steadfast dedication to protecting our rights—whether that involves hunting, fishing, or our Second Amendment freedoms. In addition to her agricultural and conservation work, Christy is a full-time paralegal at a law firm, a role that further sharpens her ability to navigate complex issues, conduct thorough research, advocate effectively, and support sound, informed decision-making. Her advocacy reflects a deep commitment to responsible stewardship and preserving the outdoor traditions valued by OHA members.
Beyond her professional and volunteer work, Christy has a passion for seeing the world. She loves to travel and enjoys cruising to new destinations, exploring different cultures, and experiencing the natural beauty found across the planet.
