2A Firearm Policy

Firearm Policy

OHA advocates for the protection of Second Amendment rights, especially as they relate to hunting and outdoor traditions. The organization actively monitors and responds to firearm-related legislation that may impact hunters and responsible gun owners.

OHA opposes restrictive firearm laws that limit access, impose unnecessary regulations, or affect lawful hunting activities. At the same time, the association supports responsible firearm ownership, safety education, and policies that align with conservation and ethical hunting practices. OHA regularly engages in legislative processes to protect hunters’ rights and ensure fair firearm regulations in Oregon.
