Conservation Policy

Conservation is at the core of OHA’s mission. The organization is dedicated to protecting wildlife habitats, improving ecosystems, and ensuring long-term sustainability of Oregon’s natural resources.

OHA collaborates with agencies like ODFW and invests in habitat restoration projects, wildlife research, and land access initiatives. Their efforts include protecting key habitats for deer and elk, supporting conservation funding programs, and increasing penalties for poaching. These initiatives help maintain healthy wildlife populations while preserving Oregon’s hunting heritage.
