Hunting Policy

Oregon Hunters Association (OHA) strongly supports the protection of legal, ethical hunting as a vital part of wildlife management and conservation. The organization advocates for science-based regulations that ensure sustainable wildlife populations while preserving hunting traditions for future generations.

OHA actively opposes any initiatives that seek to criminalize or restrict hunting practices, such as recent ballot measures that could eliminate legal protections for hunting, fishing, and trapping. The association works closely with state agencies to maintain balanced seasons, manage predator populations, and ensure fair access to hunting opportunities across public and private lands.
