PREPARING YOU FOR THE FIELD

Whether you're a lifelong hunter or just getting started, the Oregon Hunters Association offers opportunities, resources, and a community to help you succeed in the field.

Through programs like Learn to Hunt, new hunters can gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and the confidence needed to begin their hunting journey. Women of OHA provides a welcoming space for women to connect, learn new skills, attend events, and build lasting friendships with others who share a passion for hunting and conservation. OHA members also have access to educational workshops, youth programs, habitat projects, chapter events, advocacy opportunities, and a statewide network of hunters dedicated to protecting Oregon's wildlife, habitat, and hunting heritage for future generations.

OHA's Youth Programs and Education opportunities help introduce the next generation to Oregon's hunting and conservation heritage.

Through youth workshops, sight-in days, outdoor skills clinics, mentored experiences, and chapter-led events, young people can learn safe firearm handling, hunting ethics, wildlife conservation, and outdoor skills in a supportive environment. These programs provide hands-on learning experiences that build confidence, knowledge, and a lifelong connection to the outdoors.
